Spiritual Couch Potatoes
Bloomsday 2017 is here. You probably know a walker, a runner or helper. You’re not interested in being in a race? The Apostle Paul says all Christians are running a race. The only question is whether you will run it well or not! Like Bloomsday, your race has set beginning and ending points. (Ps 139:16) Finish well! As he neared death, Paul wrote, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Finish well! As Jesus completed redeeming mankind, he said, “It is finished!” Last Sunday’s worship service informed my faith and motivated me. My small group gave me encouragement to keep running while challenging me to DO SOMETHING about what I just heard from God in the worship time. Whether you’re a spiritual couch potato or all toned up, meet with the Body of Christ this Sunday for training and equipping! After all, we’re all part of a spiritual relay race. As you received the gospel, pass it on! Let’s spur one another on to love and good works!
