

Let's Be Like Irises
I really like the irises in front of FBC. They’re dependable, consistent, beautiful, hardy, reproduce themselves plentifully, and smell good.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we Christians were like that?
Oh, that’s right! The Holy Spirit is working in us to make us more like Jesus!

You Can Do It Too
On Monday night Elisa and I hosted a Neighborhood BBQ in honor of Memorial Day. It took time, energy, and money from us to do that - but not a huge amount of any of those.
You can do exactly what we did.
We met new neighbors, reconnected with friends, and Peter even asked me to share why I did this church thing. So I did!

Penelope Mae Morriss was born Wednesday at 3:46 PM, weighed 9.6lbs, and was 21.25 inches long!
As Christians we're called to serve one another and carry one another's burdens. A baby's birth is the best crisis possible and I've enjoyed being part of a small group that springs into action to serve like Jesus would.
Penelope is Robert & Jhontiel's responsibilty to raise and share the Gospel with - but as part of our small group Robert & Jhontiel are OUR responsibility!
