In 2013, when Micah was three months old, I began my seminary career at the Pacific Northwest Campus, Gateway Seminary. After taking classes in administration, preaching, counseling, and even Hebrew & Greek I've completed 90 credits and will receive my Masters of Divinity degree when Anna is about three months old!

Guest Post: Winter Camp
Thank you for the support that allowed myself and two students to go to camp this past weekend. We spent our time connecting with each other, fellow youth and leaders, and the Holy Spirit.
We did this over burgers and waffles, in sessions with speaker Mike Thibodeaux, playing loud games involving oreos, crepe paper, and dice, and discussion times to reflect on the sermons. The Gospel was heavily emphasized and I was reminded in each session of my need for a savior. I am uns

BBQs & Love
Did you know our church has members who have hosted neighborhood BBQs in the past month with more than 75 guests?
Jesus said to love our neighbors. Its hard to love someone if you don't know them so two families hosted BBQs to get to know their neighbors.
Oh, its easy to SAY you love them. But love is patient and love is kind. If you haven't been patient or kind with a neighbor then you probably haven't loved them.
